Lastly, there may be confusion about the baggage policies and storage options on the train. **

Eurocity trains are international trains that connect major cities across Europe, operated by a collaboration of different national railway companies. They offer higher levels of comfort and amenities, and often require seat reservations. Intercity trains, on the other hand, are domestic trains that connect major cities within a single country. They may offer varying levels of comfort and amenities, and may or may not require seat reservations depending on the specific route and operator. **

The mask requirement in the ICE (InterCity Express) is that passengers are required to wear a medical mask or an FFP2 mask while on board the train. The Nightjet is an intercity train service operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB). It connects major cities across Europe, offering overnight travel options with sleeping compartments and couchette cars. The Nightjet is designed for long-distance travel rather than regional journeys, making it an intercity train rather than a regional train. **

The InterCity Express (ICE) trains are powered by electricity from overhead lines or a third rail. The electricity is collected by the pantograph, a device on the roof of the train that makes contact with the overhead lines or third rail. The electricity is then converted and distributed to power the train's motors, which drive the wheels and propel the train forward. The ICE trains also have regenerative braking systems, which convert the kinetic energy from braking back into electricity to be used elsewhere on the train. **
